ORLANDO - The UCF football team will hold its annual fan photo day Saturday, Aug. 26 at 4 p.m. at the practice fields next to the new Wayne Densch Sports Center on campus. The event is free for all fans and is the ideal opportunity to meet and greet players and coaches, get autographs and take photographs with the Golden Knights.
UCF representatives will be on hand to assist in season ticket sales, as well as provide information on the UCF Alumni Association and the Golden Knights Club. The UCF Bookstore will also be on site selling Golden Knight apparel.
The Golden Knights open the 2006 campaign at home on Sept. 2 against Villanova at the Florida Citrus Bowl. This season will mark UCF's final campaign at the Citrus Bowl as the team is scheduled to move into Bright House Stadium on campus in 2007.
Ticket orders for this year are now being accepted. Season ticket holders will be given priority when seats are sold in the new on-campus stadium. Call 407-UCF-1000 to place your ticket order.
Parking for the event is available at two convenient locations. Fans can park at the East Plaza Garage (third level and above), which is adjacent to the Wayne Densch Sports Center. For those fans with tailgating plans, parking will be at the E2 surface parking lot located on the south side of the North Parking Garage.
