ORLANDO - UCF's director of ticket operations for athletics Teri Kromrei announced Wednesday that season tickets for the 2006 football season are expected to be mailed out August 10.
"There is great anticipation for this season and our fans are anxious to know when they will get their tickets in hand," Kromrei said. "We have the tickets packaged in the envelopes right now and are just waiting for the parking passes from the printer. We have been assured we will receive them early next week so our fans will have their tickets well in advance of the first game."
The Golden Knights, picked by the league's coaches to repeat as champions of the East Division in Conference USA, open the season at home Sept. 2 against Villanova. UCF's season ticket count eclipsed the 12,500 mark last week and is rapidly approaching 13,000.
