ORLANDO - UCF Metro will broadcast a 30-minute preview show on the upcoming 2006 football season for the Golden Knights Sunday on WMFE-24 (local PBS affiliate). The show will feature UCF Director of Athletics Keith R. Tribble, head football coach George O'Leary and senior quarterback Steven Moffett.
The show airs Sunday at 12 noon and on August 6 at noon. Former Orange County Mayor Linda Chapin hosts the program.
Among the topics covered include an updated report on the construction of UCF's new on-campus football stadium and O'Leary's thoughts on the 2006 season.
The Golden Knights open the 2006 campaign at home on Saturday, Sept. 2 vs. Villanova. Ticket orders are now being accepted for the 2006 football season. Season ticket holders will be given priority when seats are sold in the new stadium. Fans can place their ticket order by calling 407-UCF-1000.
