PORTSMOUTH, Va. - UCF sophomore Kyle Davis followed up Friday's 10-under 60 with rounds of 66 and 71 Sunday and finished fifth at the Eastern Amateur in Portsmouth, Va. He finished one stroke out of a three-way tie for second.
Davis made 11 birdies and one bogey during Friday's round en route to setting the competitive course record at the par-70 Elizabeth Manor course. Earlier this summer he won the Philadelphia Amateur title.
