INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Former UCF track and field standout Ann-Louise Larsen finished 10th in the high jump at the AT&T USA Track and Field National Championships on Saturday.
"For Ann to go into her first national championship and finish as well as she did against professional athletes is a testament to her talents. We're proud of her accomplishment," said UCF head coach Marcia Mansur-Wentworth.
Larsen, who competed for the Golden Knights from 2002-05 and served as a student assistant coach last season, posted a mark of 5-feet, 10 inches in the women's open event. Chaunte Howard won the title with a leap of 6-7.
Larsen earned the right to compete at the championships after earning the high jump title with a mark of 6-0 at the Florida Classic Track and Field Meet on May 27 in Clermont, Fla.
A three-time NCAA Regional competitor and two-time Atlantic Sun champion, Larsen shares the school record of 5-11.25.
