CLERMONT, Fla. - Former UCF standout Ann-Louise Larsen claimed the high jump title on Saturday at the Florida Classic Track and Field Meet and as a result, qualified for the 2006 AT&T USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in June.
At Saturday's meet, Larsen, who competed for the Golden Knights from 2002-05, posted a mark of six-feet (1.83 meters) to win the event. That mark gives her the "A" standard for the USA Championships, which begin June 21 in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Orlando native participated in three NCAA East Regional Championships while at UCF. Larsen spent this past season with the Golden Knights as a volunteer assistant coach.
