April 7, 2006

ORLANDO - The Golden Knights women's tennis and men's golf programs will be featured this Saturday on the UCF Sports Report radio show. UCF women's tennis head coach Patricia Allison will appear on the program, which starts at 11 a.m. on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 THE TEAM-AM.

Host Scott Adams will talk to Allison about UCF's season. The Golden Knights host local rival Stetson on Saturday at the UCF Tennis Complex.

The "Voice of the Golden Knights," Marc Daniels, will open Saturday's show, speaking with baseball head coach Jay Bergman.

Following a 30-minute segment on baseball, Adams will review the past week in UCF athletics and also preview upcoming games and events for all of the Golden Knight programs.

Fans can also listen to the program via the web at www.UCFathletics.com as part of the Golden Knights All-Access package.

Adams will also speak to senior Sonny Nimkhum of the men's golf team. Nimkhum earned Conference USA Golfer of the Week honors on March 29 after a third-place finish at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. He finished at 1-under-par (211) and was one of only three players in the field of 75 to break par. The Golden Knights will compete at the Thunderbird Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. this weekend.
