AUSTIN, Texas - Sophomore Victoria Chin earned an NCAA qualifying time in the 400-meter hurdles as the UCF women's track and field team competed in day two of the 79th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Friday.
Chin posted a personal best time of 60.80, which also ranks second all-time at UCF, as she qualified for her second consecutive NCAA East Regional. The effort also placed her 15th at the meet but out of contention for the event finals on Saturday.
Meanwhile, senior Diana Chin recorded a time of 14.27 in the 100m hurdles but also missed qualifying for the event finals.
The Golden Knights also competed at the Asics Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C. on Friday. Junior Karen Kozub finished the 1500m at 4:52.96, while freshman Shantile Blackburn posted a time of 5:02.75.
Freshman Sheree Carter ran the 200m dash in 26.89.
UCF continues competing at the Duke Invitational on Saturday.
