ORLANDO - The UCF softball and track and field programs will be featured this Saturday on the UCF Sports Report radio program. The show starts at 11 a.m. on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, 740-THE TEAM AM.
Host Scott Adams will speak to softball head coach Renee Luers-Gillispie about UCF's inaugural campaign in Conference USA. The Golden Knights host Florida State for a doubleheader on Tuesday.
Adams will also interview junior Katie Fowke of the UCF track and field team. Last weekend at the Bulldog Limited in Athens, Ga., Fowke qualified for the NCAA East Regional with an impressive pole vault performance. Fowke and the rest of the Golden Knights will conclude their regular season at home on Saturday with the Golden Knight Twilight.
The "Voice of the Golden Knights," Marc Daniels, will open Saturday's show, speaking with baseball head coach Jay Bergman. The Golden Knights host national power Rice for a league series this weekend.
Following a 30-minute segment on baseball, Adams will review the past week in UCF athletics and also preview upcoming games and events for all of the Golden Knight programs.
