ORLANDO - College Sports Television (CSTV) announced Wednesday the network will broadcast the UCF-Memphis football game live to a national audience Saturday, November 11. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. (ET) from the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn.
The game vs. the Tigers marks UCF's fifth game on national television in 2006. The five appearances on national television during the regular season are the most in school history. The Golden Knights played in front of a national television audience five times last season, including three games on ESPN (South Carolina, C-USA Championship Game vs. Tulsa, Sheraton Hawaii Bowl vs. Nevada).
UCF's first national television appearance in 2006 will take place on Saturday, September 16 at home vs. regional-rival USF on CSTV. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. from the Florida Citrus Bowl.
The Golden Knights are scheduled to appear on ESPN 2 at home vs. Southern Miss on September 26 and at Marshall (October 4) the following week.
ESPN will broadcast UCF's home game vs. Pittsburgh on October 13.
