ORLANDO - The UCF men's tennis team will welcome another tough opponent to the UCF Tennis Complex when it hosts Indiana on Saturday. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
Admission is free for all UCF home matches.
The Golden Knights enter the contest with a 7-5 record. After winning four-consecutive matches, UCF has lost three in a row. On Tuesday, the squad dropped a 6-1 match at cross-state rival USF. This season, the Golden Knights are 4-2 at home.
Freshman Jimmy Roesch has seen more action in singles play for the Golden Knights recently. He is 4-2 this season, all at No. 6 singles. At No. 3 doubles, Roesch is 3-1 with fellow freshman Brock Sakey.
The Hoosiers (9-6) have won four-consecutive matches. On Thursday, Indiana posted a 6-1 win over Army in Tampa. The Hoosiers won all three doubles matches before taking five of the six singles contests in straight sets.
In doubles, Indiana's Dmytro Ishtuganov and Neil Kenner are ranked 56th nationally.
The Hoosiers will be playing the final contest of a five-match spring break trip to Florida.
