Headlining the list of performances was a record-breaking effort by the 4x800-meter team of juniors Karen Kozub and Christina Jones, sophomore Kristen Zieminski and freshman Shantile Blackburn. The Golden Knights took first place in the event with a time of 9:18.56.

UCF also grabbed first place in the 4x400m, 4x200m, sprint medley and distance medley relays.

"I was very proud of our team's solid effort over the weekend," said head coach Marcia Mansur-Wentworth. "Now we look forward to two weeks off before returning to Disney to take on some of the best track programs in the country."

The Golden Knights return to action at the Disney Invitational from March 24-25 when the scheduled opponents include South Carolina among others.
