ORLANDO - The UCF men's tennis team will be looking for its eighth win of the 2006 campaign when it hosts 41st-ranked Louisiana-Lafayette on Sunday at the UCF Tennis Complex. The match will begin at noon. Admission to all UCF tennis matches is free.
The Golden Knights are 7-3 on the year after dropping a 4-3 contest at home to No. 46 Penn on Tuesday. Sophomore Alamgir Wali and freshmen Brock Sakey and Tarek Ben Soltane all won singles tilts against the Quakers.
The Ragin' Cajuns are 5-2 on the year. Louisiana-Lafayette has not played since March 4, when it dropped a 4-3 match to No. 60 Oklahoma in Ft. Worth. This season, the squad has posted wins over Florida State and Oregon.
The Golden Knights were slated to host Troy today, but the match was canceled as the Trojans had a scheduling conflict.
