TALLAHASSEE - The UCF women's tennis team lost only one game as the Golden Knights shut out host Florida A&M, 6-0, on Sunday morning.

In her first outing at the No. 1 singles position, freshman Elvira Serrot took a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Samaria Bailey, while the Golden Knights earned identical 6-0, 6-0 wins at the other positions. Junior Becky Gordon grabbed her first singles win of the 2006 season by beating Nzinga Smith at No. 5, while classmate Megan Hunter extended her winning streak to three by defeating Daenetta Thompson.

Due to inclement weather, doubles matches were left unplayed.
