ORLANDO - Fans are invited to welcome the start of baseball and softball season with the First Pitch Luncheon Tuesday, January 31 at the FAIRWINDS Alumni Center on the campus of UCF. Both the baseball and softball teams will be in attendance as the 2006 season is just around the corner.
The event is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Parking is available in the North Parking Garage across from the UCF Arena.
Cost is $25 for UCF Alumni Association members and Golden Knights Club donors while all other guests can attend for $30. Corporate tables of seven are available for $300 with a student-athlete seated at your table.
Baseball opens the season Saturday, February 4 at Florida International while softball begins play Friday, February 10 vs. Southern Illinois in St. Augustine.
