ORLANDO, Fla. - UCF Deputy Athletics Director William J. Weidner announced the hiring of Teri Kromrei as director of ticket operations on Monday. Her appointment is effective immediately.
"Teri Kromrei brings a solid background in the area of ticket operations to UCF," said Weidner. "Her experience at Kent State University as their athletics program's ticket manager will serve her well in her new post. Teri's strong organizational skills, proactive approach as well as her commitment and sensitivity toward quality customer service will greatly assist her efforts at UCF. On behalf of the University of Central Florida and our entire athletic program, we welcome Teri as the newest member of the Golden Knight family."
Kromrei brings with her more than seven years of experience in athletic ticketing. She spent nearly three years as ticket manager at Kent State University where she managed the box office for all home athletics events, special events and concerts and, maintained financial records for all events.
Prior to her appointment at Kent State, Kromrei spent five years as the office manager/assistant ticket manager at her alma mater, the University of Detroit Mercy. There she assisted in the box office for all home athletics events.
"I am excited about the opportunities here at UCF," said Kromrei. "I look forward to working on behalf of the university and the athletics department."
Kromrei earned a bachelor's degree in history in 1998 and a master's degree in business in 2003, both from UDM.
