ORLANDO - The UCF Athletics Association, Inc. has announced a special holiday gift for UCF fans and personnel enlisted in the U.S. Navy. For UCF fans planning on purchasing a bowl ticket to keep as a commemorative memento, the UCFAA will print a duplicate ticket and donate the ticket to enlisted Navy personnel in Hawaii so they can attend the game at Aloha Stadium.
The Golden Knights make their first-ever bowl appearance Dec. 24 vs. Nevada in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. In addition, for each ticket that is purchased and donated, UCF Sports Marketing will donate a t-shirt to give to the Navy personnel and their families to become adopted UCF fans in the stands.
