ORLANDO - Fans looking to learn more about the Golden Knights as they prepare to face Tulsa in the Conference USA Championship on Saturday will have opportunities to gain insight from UCF head coach George O'Leary this week.
On Friday night, WESH-2 will air a special "UCF Sports Today with George O'Leary," beginning at 7:30 p.m. O'Leary will join host Pat Clarke to preview the C-USA Championship game versus the Golden Hurricane.
On Thursday evening, O'Leary will appear on the "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" radio show. The program, hosted by Marc Daniels, airs live from the Orlando Ale House in Waterford Lakes.
The show airs on 740-AM The Team, the flagship station of the UCF ISP Sports Network. Fans can also listen via the world wide web at www.UCFathletics.com.
"Lunch with George" returns this Friday at noon on the UCF campus. The event gives fans the chance to get up-close and personal with O'Leary before Saturday's title game at the Florida Citrus Bowl.
The lunch will be held in the Fairwinds Alumni Center on campus. There is no cost to attend and lunch from Chipotle will be provided. Fans can park free of charge in the North Parking Garage.
