ORLANDO - Join the Golden Knights as they open the 2005-06 season at the UCF Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon on Nov. 15 at the brand new FAIRWINDS Alumni Center. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. at the alumni center, which is located across from UCF Arena.
The men's and women's teams will both be introduced during the luncheon. Men's coach Kirk Speraw and women's coach Gail Striegler are scheduled speak at the event. Both squads are entering their first campaign as a member of Conference USA.
Both teams kickoff the regular season on Nov. 18 at UCF Arena. The women's squad hosts Florida A&M at 5:30 p.m. At 8 p.m., the men's team will face cross-town foe Rollins.
