ORLANDO - "Lunch with George," originally scheduled for Friday at the Wayne Densch Sports Center, has been cancelled. The event, held before each UCF home football game, gives Golden Knight fans the opportunity to learn more about the team from UCF head coach George O'Leary.
Because UCF will now play Tulane on Friday evening at 7 p.m. at the Florida Citrus Bowl, the lunch event will not be held this week. The event will resume on Nov. 4, prior to UCF's contest with Houston.
The "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" radio show will still air on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. on 740-AM The Team. The program, hosted by Marc Daniels, airs from the Orlando Ale House in Waterford Lakes.
O'Leary, who will be with the team on Thursday night, will call-in the program for a segment. Fans can also listen to the program via the Internet at www.UCFathletics.com.
