ORLANDO - UCF senior captain Billy Judino was named SoccerFla.com Player of the Week on Tuesday after recording five points in two matches last week.
Judino scored the game-winning tally and added an assist in a 2-1 victory over Florida Atlantic on Sept. 22, then netted a second goal in a 3-1 win at North Florida three days later.
The assist against FAU gave Judino 18 for his career, which ranks him eighth all-time at UCF. He currently leads the team with eight points in seven games.
"Billy is a great leader for us," said first-year UCF head coach Brent Erwin. "He is a consummate professional who shows up everyday to play. He is beginning to see the results in games."
The Golden Knights make their Conference USA debut on Sept. 30 when they host Marshall for a 7 p.m. kickoff at the UCF Soccer Complex.
