ORLANDO - The UCF volleyball team's home match with Florida Atlantic, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, has been postponed. Due to the impending threat of Tropical Storm Rita to the south Florida region, both schools agreed to postpone the match. No makeup date has been announced.
The Golden Knights will return to the courts on Friday evening, playing their inaugural Conference USA match at SMU in Dallas, Texas at 8 p.m.
UCF will now make its 2005 home debut on Sunday against Tulsa at 1 p.m. The match will be played at the Education Gym on the UCF campus. No admission will be charged, but fans are asked to bring donations to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
