TAMPA - FSN Florida and the University of South Florida announced today that the UCF-USF game on Saturday, September 17, at 7:00 p.m., will air live and statewide on FSN Florida. It will be the first match-up between the two intrastate rivals and will be played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
UCF will appear at least four times on television in 2005, the most television games for the Golden Knights since 2003.
The Golden Knights open 2005 on Thursday, September 1 in primetime on ESPN at South Carolina. The game marks the fourth consecutive season UCF will open the year on ESPN. UCF makes its debut on ESPN's Thursday Night Primetime Telecast with Mike Tirico and Kirk Herbstreit on the call along with Erin Andrews on the sidelines.
The Houston game on Nov. 5 will be televised by the i network (formerly PAX) and the Nov. 12 game at UAB is on CSTV.
