ORLANDO - The UCF football team held its first of two practices under hot conditions Thursday morning on the outdoor practice fields. The Golden Knights hit the field in helmets and shoulder pads for a 24-period practice.
The day was filled with installation as the Golden Knights spent most of the practice going over all three phases of the game.
One player who has taken advantage of his opportunities in camp has been junior quarterback Ed Marynowitz. After sitting out last season due to NCAA transfer rules, the former LaSalle quarterback has been efficient this fall for the Golden Knights.
"He has been very well respected among his teammates because he works hard," stated offensive coordinator Tim Salam on Marynowitz. "He deserves an opportunity to be looked at."
"I am just happy to be out there right now," stated Marynowitz.
Thursday's night practice is set for 7:30-9:15 p.m. under the lights in full pads.
