ORLANDO - The 2005 UCF football media guide is now posted online. The 208-page publication features everything you would want to know about the 2005 UCF Golden Knights and the history of the football program.
The guide will be available to the public in late July. It can be purchased through the mail for $13 (shipping included) by sending a check or money order payable to "UCFAA" to the UCF Sports Information Office, 4000 Central Florida Blvd., Orlando, FL 32816. Phone and credit card sales are available through the UCF Ticket Office at 407-823-GOLD.
The guide can also be purchased in person at the Ticket office in the UCF Arena for $10. The guides will also be on sale at the UCF Bookstore on campus.
New NCAA legislation enacted this past spring limits the number of pages allowed in media guides to 208 pages. Therefore, UCF's football guide--which was 290 pages last year--had to be reduced by 200 pages in 2005. Still, the guide--the same one used by the media who cover UCF--is a must for fans who want to follow the Golden Knights as they begin a new era as a member of Conference USA in 2005.
The guide includes information present and past about the UCF football program, such as biographies of players and coaches on the 2005 squad, as well as an outlook of the team and a roster. It also has a complete historical section that includes scores of every game UCF has played, a list of all-time letterwinners, UCF records and statistics, and a listing of every Golden Knight who has played in the NFL.
