Florida Duo to Join UCF Women's Track, Cross Country Teams

ORLANDO - UCF women's track and field and cross country head coach Marcia Mansur-Wentworth announced the signing of Michelle Ranc of Weston and Kelly McNeill of Coral Springs to national letters of intent (NLI) on Wednesday.

Ranc, a product of Archbishop McCarthy High School, specializes in the hurdles. This spring she was the state runner-up in the 300m event, where she has posted a career-best time of 44.13. She also took third place at the State 2A Championships in the 100m competition (15.05).

A middle distance runner from Taravella High School, McNeill has a recorded a time of 2:18.56 in the 800m. She was the 4A Regional runner-up in the event this spring. McNeill will run for both the track and cross country teams at UCF.

"We're excited to have a pair of dedicated athletes like Michelle and Kelly join our program. With their talent, they will be able to make an impact in their respective events," said Mansur-Wentworth.
