ATLANTA, Ga. - Senior Ann-Louise Larsen and junior Tiffany Roebuck recorded NCAA Regional qualifying marks as the UCF women's track and field team competed in its final day of the Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday.
Larsen tied for fifth in the high jump as she posted a leap of 5 feet, 8.75 inches. It was the ninth time this season that she met the NCAA Regional qualifying standard.
Not to be outdone by her teammate, Roebuck surpassed the NCAA Regional qualifying mark in the hammer throw for the third time this season. She earned sixth place at 179-5. On Friday, Roebuck posted a toss of 44-6 in the shot put to finish 16th.
Meanwhile, sophomore Katie Fowke ranked in a tie for seventh in the pole vault with a mark of 11-5.75, leaping over 11 feet for the third consecutive meet.
The Golden Knights return to action at the NCAA East Regional in New York, N.Y. over Memorial Day Weekend.
