May 13, 2005

ORLANDO - UCF, Clear Channel Broadcasting and ISP Sports have announced a new agreement that will keep WQTM AM - 740 The Team as the radio home for Golden Knights athletics for the next three years. The new agreement includes all UCF football and men's basketball game broadcasts, selected baseball broadcasts and a weekly call-in show that features football head coach George O'Leary and basketball head coach Kirk Speraw during their respective seasons.

"We are excited to continue our relationship with UCF and ISP Sports," said Linda Byrd, general manager for Clear Channel Orlando. "Orlando's hometown team and Orlando's sports leader are a perfect match."

ISP serves as the multimedia rightsholder for UCF athletics. Starting in the fall of 2005, UCF will compete in Conference USA.

"We are delighted to have 740 The Team remain as part of our Golden Knights team," said Bobby Bohn, general manager of the ISP staff in Orlando. "This relationship provides a consistent broadcast home in this market for all of our programming."

Bohn also announced that Marc Daniels, the play-by-play announcer for the Golden Knights for the last 10 years, will continue in that capacity.

"I'm thrilled to begin a second decade as the voice of the Golden Knights," stated Daniels. "With a new conference and continued growth in all of the programs, many great highlights lie ahead for UCF."
