MACON, Ga. - UCF junior golfer Ashley Grier was named to the Atlantic Sun all-conference second team, as announced by the conference office Tuesday. The second team all-conference honor for Grier is the second in two seasons for the Hagerstown, Md., native.
In 2004, Grier captured second team honors at Jacksonville University. She was also named the A-Sun Freshman of the Year in 2003 with the Dolphins.
Grier was the top-ranked golfer for the Golden Knights this season and helped lead UCF to a third-place finish at the A-Sun Championship. Grier also finished third in the individual standings at the A-Sun Championship to lead UCF.
