MIAMI LAKES - The UCF women's golf team is tied for fifth place with Florida International after two rounds of play at the Ryder Florida Collegiate Cup. The Golden Knights shot 28-over par 322 on Saturday afternoon at the Don Shula's Golf Resort in Miami Lakes.

Junior Ashley Grier paced the Golden Knights shooting a 6-over par 78. Grier is in a four-way tie for 16th place overall, while senior Livia Jakobsson is in a three-way tie for 22nd place after coming off a round of 80.

The course continued to play extremely tough this afternoon as no golfer shot even or under par. There were only five rounds at even or under par yesterday.

Play continues tomorrow morning with final round action. UCF is tied with FIU for fifth place, and is three strokes ahead of Nova Southeastern.
