CLEARWATER, Fla. - The UCF softball team continued its strong play at the Speedline Invitational, but dropped a 1-0 heartbreaking decision to No. 9 Baylor on Saturday afternoon.
Lindsay Enders threw a whale of a game giving up only three hits and striking out nine batters against one of more prolific offenses in the nation. Baylor entered the game with seven players hitting over .300.
The game came down to extra innings, and the Bears executed on a bunt scoring the game's only run.
The Golden Knights finished pool play 3-1, and have a game later on this afternoon against an opponent to be determined.
