MACON, Ga. - UCF had four student-athletes recognized for their work in the classroom when the Atlantic Sun Conference announced its men's basketball all-academic honorees on Tuesday.
Sophomore Adam Picow and redshirt freshman Adam Gill both earned the award for the second consecutive season. Junior Will Bakanowsky and sophomore Albert Smidebush also garnered honors.
To be named A-Sun All-Academic, a student-athlete must achieve a 3.0 or higher GPA. This season, 50 conference student-athletes received honors.
The Golden Knights (21-8, 13-7 A-Sun) will participate in the conference championship in Nashville, Tenn. this week. UCF is seeded second and will play No. 7 Mercer on Thursday afternoon at 3:15 p.m.
