GAINESVILLE - The UCF women's golf team finished the final round of play at the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational Sunday in 18th place. The Golden Knights carded a team score of 995 (+155) after 54 holes of play. Wake Forest won the event with a score of 883 (+43).
Junior Ashley Grier was UCF's top finisher in a tie for 57th. Grier's three-round total of 239 (+29) included a final round score of 78.
UCF returns to action Monday, March 14 at the Waterlefe Invitational in Bradenton, Fla.
