MIAMI, Fla. - The UCF softball team earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory on Sunday morning at the Golden Panther Adidas Invitational.

Lindsay Enders pitched her third complete game shutout of the season giving up only three hits while striking out four Huskies.

"Lindsay was locked in from the first pitch this morning," head coach Renee Luers-Gillispie said. "That's just the type of competitor she is in a big game situation. Both of our pitchers have been getting ahead all weekend, and that has been a key to our success."

The Golden Knights strung together three singles in the second inning grabbing a 1-0 advantage. Kacie Feaster picked up the lone RBI driving home Bryttani Lindheim.

"Another big two-out hit for our line-up," Luers-Gillispie said. "You have to give credit to Bryttani and Cat for putting Kacie in that situation to produce."

The consolation game has been cancelled due to afternoon showers in the forecast so the Golden Knights will take on No. 20 Florida International in the championship game of the Golden Panther Adidas Invitational later this morning. First pitch is slated for 11:30 a.m. You can follow all the action live from Miami by clicking on the live stats link on ucfathletics.com
