Golden Knights Drop Match at No. 53 Miami

CORAL GABLES - The UCF men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 match on Friday evening to 53rd-ranked Miami at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center. The Golden Knights fall to 2-6 on the season, while Miami posts its fifth consecutive victory and improves to 6-1.

At the No. 1 doubles spot, UCF's senior tandem of Joel Allen and Antonio Sierra earned an 8-5 win over Josh Cohen and Eric Hechtman - the 40th-ranked pair in the nation.

The Hurricanes claimed all six singles matches in two sets.

The Golden Knights return to action on the road on Sunday morning, playing Atlantic Sun rival Florida Atlantic in Boca Ration at 11 a.m.
