ORLANDO - The men's basketball team looks to avoid its first three game losing streak since the 2001-02 season when they host A-Sun rival Jacksonville on Sunday. The Golden Knights come into the match-up with am 8-4 mark overall and 1-3 in league play. Jacksonville is currently 5-6 overall and 1-3 in the A-Sun.

Jacksonville's Haminn Quaintance, a pre-season All-A-Sun selection, is averaging 13.1 points per game while pulling down a league-best 8.9 boards. Quaintance is shooting .560 from the floor and also has recorded 20 blocks. Antonio Cool leads the team in scoring, averaging 13.9 points per game. David Lee and Jesse Kimbrough are also averaging double figures in scoring at 11.4 and 10.0 points per game respectively. JU holds a 10-9 advantage in the all-time series. It is one of two series against A-Sun foes that the Knights trail. The Knights have won three straight and five of the last seven contests in the series.

Anthony Williams has started the season by becoming a dominant inside presence for UCF. The 6-8 junior from Omaha, Neb., is averaging 12.0 points per game while shooting .629 from the floor. Williams made his debut by dropping in a team-high 21 points and later matched his season high in a 76-63 loss at Georgia State. Williams has scored in double figures in seven games this season and shot over .600 from the floor in eight games this year.

Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., as Marc Daniels will call the action, which can be heard live on UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station 740-THE TEAM (AM). Tickets are still available. Adults are $6. Youth age 17 and under and seniors age 55 and older are $4. Children under five and UCF students with a valid UCF student I.D. are admitted free.
