ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Anthony Williams scored 18 points and UCF went on an 11-0 run to end the game, coming from behind to beat Lipscomb 67-58 Monday night.
Josh Peppers 3-pointer with 59 seconds left gave UCF (14-7, 7-6 Atlantic Sun Conference) its first lead since the 13:15 mark.
Lipscomb's Brian Fisk missed a tying 3-pointer with 34 seconds left, and Gary Johnson went 6-for-6 from the free throw line over the final 33 seconds to seal the victory for the Golden Knights.
Lipscomb (10-9, 5-7), which led by as many as six points in the second half, out-rebounded UCF 35-26, but missed all three shots and committed two turnovers in the final 1:15.
Johnson scored 12 of his 17 points in the second half and had six assists for UCF.
Fisk led three Lipscomb players in double figures with 16 points while James Poindexter had 12 and Cameron Robinson added 10.
