NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Will Peeples scored 13 points and Belmont overcame an 11-point first-half deficit to beat UCF 67-52 on Sunday.

A dunk by Joshua Peppers, who finished with 16 points, gave the Golden Knights (12-6, 5-5 Atlantic Sun Conference) a 20-9 lead with 5:02 left in the first half. Belmont (7-10, 6-3) shot just 5-for-20 in the first half and trailed 27-22 at the half.

But the Bruins went on a 9-2 run to take a 47-41 lead on Dan Oliver's 3-pointer with 6:20 left.

UCF cut the deficit to 49-47 on two free throws by Gary Johnson with 4:47 remaining. But Belmont finished the game on an 18-5 run, including hitting 9-of-10 from the free-throw line the final 3:30, to win its fourth consecutive conference game at home.

Jese Snyder scored 12 points and Brian Collins added 10 for the Bruins.
