ORLANDO - The UCF women's rowing team boasted 62 athletes on the Athletics Honor Roll during the fall, including 32 from the varsity and 30 from the novice squad.
Student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 or better receive the Athletics Honor Roll distinction. Of the 62 rowers, 25 made the Dean's List with a GPA of 3.5 of better and nine were on the President's List with a perfect 4.0.
"It's great to see the success of our student-athletes in the classroom," said second-year head coach Leeanne Crain. "As a program, we strive for excellence in both the academic and athletic arenas and I'm proud of the accomplishments of this team."
The Golden Knights, who are coming off a successful fall with wins over Clemson, Miami and Kansas, open the spring season on Feb. 26 at the Metro Cup on Lake Maitland.
