ORLANDO - The UCF men's soccer team is scheduled to play Major League Soccer's (MLS) Kansas City Wizards as part of the Soccer Alumni, Family & Friends Weekend from Feb. 25-27. The match is set for 7 p.m. on Friday the 25th at the UCF Soccer Field.
The game against the Wizards is one of three that the Golden Knights will be playing against MLS teams this spring. The first on Feb. 3 is against the Columbus Crew followed by a match on Feb. 10 against the Chicago Fire. Kickoff for both is set for 10 a.m. at the IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton.
UCF is also hosting an 11 vs. 11 tournament that features Stetson and German squad LBS on March 26 beginning at 9 a.m.
The Golden Knights have won three consecutive Atlantic Sun Tournament crowns and made three straight appearances in the NCAA Division I Tournament, advancing to the second round for the first time in program history during the 2004 season.
