ORLANDO - The UCF men's soccer team will play on four different dates during the spring season, starting with matches against Major League Soccer squads in February.
The Golden Knights, who won their third consecutive Atlantic Sun Tournament Championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2004, begin practice on Jan. 10 in preparation for their spring season. Their first exhibition match comes less than a month later against the Columbus Crew on Feb. 3 followed by a game against the Chicago Fire on Feb. 10. Kickoff for both is set for 10 a.m. at the IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton.
UCF will also play a third match against a yet-to-be-named opponent at 7 p.m. on Feb. 25 at the UCF Soccer Complex before hosting both Stetson and the German team LBS in an 11 vs. 11 tournament on March 26 beginning at 9 a.m.
