Nov. 8, 2004

ORLANDO, Fla. - The UCF women's soccer team was given an at-large bid for the NCAA Tournament. Campbell defeated the Golden Knights on penalty kicks in the championship game of the Atlantic Sun Tournament for the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. The Knights are the first Atlantic Sun women's soccer team to ever receive an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Knights will take on the University of Florida in round one of the NCAA Tournament Friday night in Gainesville, Fla. The winner of that game will then take on the winner of the Florida State/Boston College game on Sunday afternoon in Gainesville. This will mark the fourth year in a row that the UCF women's soccer team has participated in the NCAA Tournament.
