TAMPA - Stefan Wistorf shot a tournament-leading 4-under-par 68 Monday and propelled UCF into the lead after the first 18 holes of the 54-hole Gary Koch/Cleveland Golf Invitational at the Old Memorial Golf Course in Tampa, Fla.
UCF shot a 5-over-par 293 Monday and has a three stroke lead over South Carolina and a four-stroke lead over fourth-ranked Kentucky. Second-ranked Florida, a co-host with Kentucky, shot 310 Monday and is in 13th.
Wistorf, a junior, has a two-stroke advantage over Kentucky's Mark Blakefield and Georgia State's Darren Bynes. UCF freshman Giwon Suh shot a 1-under-par 71 and is tied for fourth with LSU's Heath West.
The 15-team field was scheduled to play 36 holes Monday, but weather delays and darkness prevented the teams from finishing both rounds. The teams will finish the second round Tuesday morning before playing the third and final round.
