STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - The UCF women's golf team is in sixth place after one round of play at the John Kirk/Lady Panther Invitational in Stockbridge, Ga. The Golden Knights carded an opening round score of 311, 17 strokes behind host and tournament leader Georgia State.
Two Golden Knights are in the top 10 after 18 holes. Senior Livia Jakobsson (Stockholm, Sweden) and sophomore Lauren Motyl (New Bedford, Mass./New Bedford) both shot a four-over par 76, to stand in a tie for 10th.
The final round of play is set for Tuesday.
