STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - The UCF women's golf team closed out its 2004 fall tour with a seventh-place finish at the John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate in Stockbridge, Ga. Tuesday. UCF shot a second round score of 311, its same score as round one, to finish the event with a team total of 622. Campbell won the team title with a score of 598.
For the first time this fall, UCF failed to have a golfer finish in the top 10. Senior Livia Jakobsson (Stockholm, Sweden) was UCF's top golfer, placing in a tie for 18th. Jakobsson fired a 77 Tuesday to finish the event with a 36-hole total of 153.
The Golden Knights return to action Monday, February 7 at the Seventh Annual UCF Invitational at Stoneybrook Golf Course.
