DeLAND - The UCF women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Hatter Fall Classic Tuesday. The Golden Knights entered the day in third, but the Golden Knights carded a score of 323 to finish the event with a 36-hole total of 629. Campbell won the championship with a score of 588.
In the individual standings, junior Ashley Grier (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) continued her terrific play this fall with a fourth-place finish. Grier carded a two-over par 74 Tuesday to finish the 36-hole event with a score of 146 (+2).
Sophomore Lauren Motyl (New Bedford, Mass./New Bedford) tied for 23rd with a 36-hole total of 159 while senior Livia Jakobsson (Stockholm, Sweden) tied for 28th (161).
The Golden Knights close out their fall tour Oct. 25-26 at the John Kirk-Lady Panther Invitational in Stockbridge, Ga.
