Jason Graham Named A-Sun Baseball Player Of The Week

UCF senior outfielder Jason Graham was named the Atlantic Sun Baseball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the league office on Monday. He was instrumental in powering UCF to a series victory over #19 Florida Atlantic. Graham's five RBI in three games handed FAU its first A-Sun series loss of the season as the Golden Knights moved into second place in the Atlantic Sun standings.

In the series opener, Graham went 2-3 at the plate with three RBI and two runs scored as UCF presented head coach Jay Bergman with his 1,000th career victory with a 14-9 win. He followed that up with a 3-4 effort in the second game of the series, driving in two runs and scoring another and also helped sustain a late inning UCF rally getting a hit helping to advance the eventual go-ahead run. He was also one of only five UCF players to get a hit in the series finale.

Graham, who has started 17 games this season for the Knights, improved his batting average to .474 on the season.

UCF has two A-Sun series remaining as they travel to Georgia State this weekend before closing out the regular season at home with a three-game series against Mercer.
