CROMWELL ON MCCAIN... 'Kate is an extremely fast, fit and technical player who was moved to wide back last year and excelled. She can play anywhere on the field but should fight for time attacking out of the backline for us.'

2005... Played in 19 matches with 16 starts...recorded a season-high three points (1 goal, 1 assist) against East Carolina...picked up assists against Buffalo and Houston...helped hold Conference USA opponents to just 13 goals and 105 shots.
2004... Saw action in 22 matches, while earning a start in 11...scored five goals on the season for a total of 10 points...scored the game-winning goal in the season opener against Florida International...scored a season-high two goals against Lipscomb...Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team.
2003... Logged 10 starts in 22 matches played...tied for third on the team with five goals and ranked sixth overall in points with 10...named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team...got back-to-back game-winners against Gardner-Webb and Belmont...scored her first two collegiate goals at Gardner-Webb...Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team.
PRIOR TO UCF... Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lakewood High School, where she played soccer during her freshman season...recorded 10 goals and 14 assists that season before concentrating on soccer at the club level...competed for the Clearwater Chargers Soccer Club...team was three-time Charger Classic Champions...named the MVP of the 1999 Charger Classic...team also claimed the 1999 Orange Classic Championship...Chargers made trips to the Florida State Cup Final Four in 2000 and 2002...participated in the Florida Olympic Development Program during her final three years of high school...attended the ODP Region Three Camp in 1999 and 2002...earned the City of Clearwater Outstanding Sportsmanship Award in 2002...active in the National Honor Society, Student Government, Interact Service Club and CATCOM Multimedia Organization.
