ORLANDO - The Knights are headed back to Gainsville as they are set to compete in the Tom Jones Memorial meet this Friday and Saturday. This marks the second time this season that the UCF Track and Field team will compete at the James G. Pressly Stadium, following a strong performance in the Florida Relays earlier this month. It was here that Adaobi Tabugo made history in the 100m hurdles by running sub 13 and earning a 3rd place spot in the all-time UCF record book.
Several members of both the long-distance and sprint teams are poised to participate in the Tom Jones Memorial meet. Building on their successful season, the 4x100m relay team is set to compete and is looking to maintain their momentum. Additionally, Tabugo will compete in the 100m hurdles, striving to surpass her previous record set at James G. Pressly Stadium.
