Fall 2009: Ranked second on the team with a 76.6 stroke average, finishing in the top 20 in three of UCF[apos]s four events...Tied for fifth at the Bettie Lou Evans Fall Invitational with a score of 146, helping UCF place second as a team...Was also UCF[apos]s second finisher, tying for eighth overall at the Eat A Peach Collegiate...Tied her career-low with a second round 71, placing third for UCF at the FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational.
Spring 2009: Joined UCF for the second half of the year and played in five spring events...Placed second for UCF in each of her first two collegiate events...Tied for eighth overall at the Kiawah Island Classic in her collegiate debut, shooting a 222 (+6) for 54 holes...Carded a 71 in the opening round of the UCF Challenge...Tied for 14th overall and third on the team at the Conference USA Championship.
Prior to UCF: Aoki graduated from The Pendleton School...An honorable mention Rolex Junior All-American in 2007...She played 12 events on the Future Collegians World Tour and finished fifth or higher in every one...Won three events on the FCWT...was the 2006 Golfweek Invitational Champion...In 2005, she won the 13-14 division of the Junior World Golf Championships by shooting a birdie on each of the last three holes to win by a single stroke.
Personal: Aoki was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, raised in Japan, and is the daughter of Yoshimori and Jun Mi Aoki... A mathematics major.
